FAQ

  • For children and adolescents, the initial meeting will be an hour long and with parents only. I will gather information about your child and what brings you in for a parent consultation. Together, we will decide the right next steps for your child and family, whether that be therapy, assessment, or a referral to another service or provider in the community.

  • An assessment is typically scheduled several months in advance, and I will let you know the next available dates when you reach out. The first step will be to schedule a parent-only consultation where we will discuss the questions you’d like answered and set up the best assessment battery for your child. We will confirm the assessment dates after this appointment.

  • I am not an in-network insurance provider. I do accept HSA and FSA cards. Some insurance plans offer reimbursement for out of network therapy and assessment, so I recommend that you call your insurance company and inquire about out of network benefits. For both therapy and assessment, I can provide you with a superbill that has all of the necessary information to submit to your insurance company.

  • I do offer sessions by telehealth, and we will decide together what is the most appropriate modality for you or your child. I am also authorized through PSYPACT to provide interstate teletherapy services for clients in participating states.

  • My office is located at the Meadows Building in Dallas (5646 Milton St., Suite 411). You can park in the surface lot right in front of the building. Pull a ticket as you enter the lot, and I will validate it before you leave. Take the elevator up to the fourth floor, take a right, and I am down the hall to your left. Take a seat in the waiting room and I will come get you at our session time.
